The main character revolving around Giulia Ronchetti’s work is the cycle of life in its continuity.
Many layered cross-references are evident in her characteristic style: from an ancient attraction to nature, to the aesthetics of herbal books from 1800, to the decorative Egyptian art or Liberty style and, finally, the contemporary design influence stemming from her multimedia and design educational background at the L.A.B.A. Academy of Brescia.
Her preferred sources of inspiration are mythological stories, archetypes, fairytales, but moreover the animal and natural worlds, which are capable of bringing about ancient and modern meanings at the same time. Every graphic element achieves its symbolic meaning and is designed to recount its own distinguishing story.
