"Her work is a diary based on illustration, handmade drawings and collage techniques mixed with painting throughout a fluid and chaotic structure. Her obsessions and dreams confront classic mythologies as well as contemporary icons. Her imaginary landscapes are populated with femmes fatales, greek caryatides, minotaurs and vampires along with innoncent girls, wedding and orgies mixed with botanical sketches and personal subways stories. Giorgia Ricci draws legends of dreamlike and poetic vision in a mix of personal adventures and her imaginary trips, all blended with a peculiar style and sincere technique." (Carlos Martinez Casas)
