The new Groove collection displayed at the Salone del Mobile 2022, combines the language of art and architecture in a series of decorations interpreted by Inkiostro Bianco and by the Studio Lucchesedesign.
Surfaces become the main furnishing element.
Rhythm and three-dimensionality are the leitmotifs of the 8 new decorations. The new inspirations bring to the material a three-dimensional visual effect marked by the rhythmic succession of signs and harmonies.
Groove by Lucchesedesign
The meeting with architect Francesco Lucchese inspired the new lineadeko 2022 collection. From his experience as a product designer come new insights that have led to the redefinition of the product concept as well as to an interpretation of the product that opens up to an innovative evolutionand new uses.
Lucchesedesign interprets the Groove collection by proposing a series of graphic designs inspired by architectural surfaces that create a three-dimensional and material visual effect.
Groove is the alternation of light and dark and nuances.
In architecture, simulate a rhythm of empty and full volumes that follow one another to enrich the surface, making it a true protagonist furnishing element within the space.
Groove by Inkiostro Bianco
The collection Groove by Inkiostro Bianco, developed by Manuel Mollicone the art director of the brand, confers to the material a rhythmic succession of images inspired by the language of music.
A thin two-sided disc makes its 45 revolutions per minute as the needle runs along the groove where magic is engraved. Groove is the rhythm carved into that groove. A harmonious and unique set of images told through sound.
All the senses contribute to the understanding of that ‘language’ made of silences, pauses and chord successions in perfect harmony. Groove is what makes accessible the vision of one who can narrate a world through abstract images that are so real as to make you feel strong emotions and create an indelible mark in the depths of your experience.
The lineadeko collections give everyone who looks at them a feeling of tranquillity and relaxation of the soul. A cladding system on panels that can be applied as a boiserie or total-height wallcovering, allowing different architectural elements to communicate within the home, designing geometries and decorations that together define a balanced and harmonious style.

Birch multilayer | processing: decorated printing
Birch is a highly resistant material. The peculiar disposition of the layers in crossed fibers makes the panels stable and non-deformable, which is perfect for wallcovering use, even in the most difficult spaces, such as bathrooms and kitchens. The resistance of birch wood across the fibers is 30% higher than other types of wood and, given equal thickness, ensures a better stability. It is also one of the broad-leaved trees with the quickest regrowth, for this reason it ensures a more rational use of the forest resources. Following a specific work of research and development Inkiostro Bianco and Listone Giordano have chosen to use birch as a noble material for this wall furniture element. A wooden surface made more precious by the decorations guarantees the advantage of a durable investment.
